LogBook Privacy Policy
LogBook has no server. Your rifles, loads, sessions and target photographs stay on your iPhone and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your own private iCloud storage. Pennanti LLC cannot see any of it.

What the app stores, and where
LogBook stores what you enter and what it measures: rifles, optics, suppressors, round counts, loads and lot numbers, sessions, distances, conditions, target photographs, and the measurements taken from them.
This is held on your iPhone. If iCloud is enabled for LogBook, a copy is also kept in your own private iCloud container under your Apple Account, so that it reaches your other devices. That container belongs to you. Pennanti has no access to it and no ability to read, copy or recover its contents. Apple holds that copy under its own privacy policy.
Sessions export as CSV from inside the app. Deleting the app removes the copy on the device; the iCloud copy is removed from iOS Settings, under your Apple Account. Neither step requires Pennanti.
Permissions
LogBook asks for one permission, the camera, in order to photograph a target. You can also measure a target you photographed earlier, which uses the iOS photo picker: it hands LogBook the single image you choose and gives it no access to the rest of your library. It does not request your location, though a photograph taken by your camera may carry location in its own metadata, which iOS Settings controls.
The camera permission can be declined or revoked in iOS Settings. Declining it removes only the feature that needs it, and you can still measure photographs you already have.
Tracking
LogBook contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK, no attribution or marketing SDK, and no third-party tracker. It does not use the Advertising Identifier and does not present the App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to track. Pennanti does not sell or share your information, because Pennanti does not have it.
Two things happen on Apple's side. Apple reports App Store downloads and sales to Pennanti as aggregate figures that identify no one. And if you have turned on Share iPhone Analytics in iOS Settings, Apple may pass Pennanti crash reports for LogBook. That setting is yours, and it is off unless you switched it on.
If you write to support, Pennanti holds your email address, your message, and anything you attached. It is used to answer you and for nothing else. It is not added to a mailing list, not used to build a profile, and not passed to anyone. It is deleted once the matter is handled, or sooner on request.
Your rights
Laws including the EU and UK GDPR and the California Consumer Privacy Act give you rights to access, correct and delete information a company holds about you. Your app data is already in your possession, on your device and in your own iCloud, so you can read, export and delete it without asking anyone. The only material Pennanti holds is support email, and a request about it is answered within thirty days.
Children
LogBook is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If LogBook ever gains a server, an account, a payment provider or a crash reporter, this page will be updated before that version ships and the date above will change with it. This policy covers LogBook and this website. It does not cover Apple, whose handling of the App Store and iCloud is governed by Apple's own policy.
